THE RED DOOR STORY
Once upon a time in the land of Pasadena, TX, there was an old automotive shop that became a little boutique clothing store named FREEK! Amidst the ruins of auto lifts and transmission fluid stains FREEK was a one-of-a-kind fashion forward adventure set in a world less ordinary. Roller skating disco, kabuki warriors in satin, & a 70’s style TV show were but a few of the fashion shows performed within the space that is currently our theatre.
Eventually all those little fashion shows added up to a change in direction and under the leadership of Josh Jordan, April McEachern, & Tiffany Velez FREEK became the Red Door Theatre Company in 2008. Specializing in original works and focusing on the story-less-told, RDTC has always been the home of bold storytelling and joyous laughter.
Our organization is built upon the foundation that passion is contagious and so we hope that with every iteration of our creative space our guests leave with a smile in their
heart.

How does your donation help our local artistic/event space?
Every dollar you give goes straight to being able to host amazing karaoke nights, monthly community events with tasty treats and drinks, nearly all that are FREE to the community! It even helps with the small stuff, like waters, toilet paper, electricty and more that allow upkeep for a space availalble to rent for artists and events alike.
I love attending events here! Why should I consider donating?
We LOVE having you! Donations allow us to provide supplies for events such as craft supplies, food, drinks, games, anything we bring to our local community events. We want to keep hosting!

Your support means that we can continue to offer a space where the importance of community shines, magic of live theater and performances thrives, and a unique artistic space sticks around for everyone to enjoy.

What can I rent the Red Door Theatre for?
ANYTHING! A birthday party, a baby shower, holiday parties, a company party, a corporate event, a musical performance, an open mic, a student event, private classes, potlucks, anything you can think of that you would like to host in a creative space...that ALSO can include karaoke services!
Why is the Red Door the best unique place for my event?
The Red Door is a unique and artistic local community space...there isn't another place out there like us! We offer karaoke/mic services to any event (a crowd pleaser), offer a bar set up, an ecclectic decor and atmosphere, and we are here to help make your event the BEST it can be!
How much is it to rent the Red Door?
Space rental is only $100/hr. You can add karaoke services for only another $100 (for a 3 hour block)!
